Welcome/Bien Venidos!

Carlos Provencio has done grant making for the Campaign of Human Development, United States Catholic Conference of Bishops in Washington DC.  He has been a keynote speaker, panelist, seminar leader at various conferences and events. He has done a lifetime of public service working with individuals, groups and organizations throughout the country including Washington, DC., Texas, California, Arizona, and New Mexico. His seminars have included grant writing, fund raising,  policy making, community empowerment and personal growth.
 
Through the Industrial Areas Foundation he created public policy and legislation that supported children, youth and families.  He helped legislate the funding of a health study for victims of water contamination in Alburquerque, New Mexico. In the city of Tucson, Arizona he mobilized the development of youth recreation in the southside and assisted with the process of targeting high drop-out rates and absenteeism of Native American children.

Mr. Provencio graduated cum laude from the College of Santa Fe with a B.A. in Social work. His graduate work included courses in Organizational Development at the California Institute for Integral Studies in San Francsico;  Special Studies in Mexican history, culture and anthropology through the Becas de Aztlan Program by the Mexican government in collaboration with Colegio de Mexico and Universidad Nacional De Mexico.
